Configure the Slack Connector

Install the Nuix Slack Connector app in your Slack organization.

To use the Nuix Connector for Slack, the Nuix Slack Connector app must first be installed within your Slack organization.

Note

This procedure must be performed by a Slack organization owner or admin.

To install the Nuix Slack connector app:

Within the Slack application, select your workspace name from the top of the sidebar.
Select Settings & administration from the menu, then click Organization Settings.
From the sidebar, click Integrations, then select Apps to open the admin dashboard.
Click Manage Apps in the top right, then select Install an app.
Using the provided search bar, search for Nuix Connector App.
After locating and selecting the app, click Continue to proceed with the installation.
Review the details and required permissions outlined on the overview page, then select Allow to grant the application access to your organization.
Once added, Slackbot will notify all organization owners and administrators that the Nuix Slack connector application has been installed.

Configuration of your Slack organization is now complete.

Note

Applications that use the Slack Discovery API, such as the Nuix Slack connector app, only need to be installed at the organization level to access data. Adding the app to individual workspaces is not necessary.
